Our actors, director, and set designer will discuss creative, character driven choreography with the set. This is where our imaginations meet reality. The world of Les Aventures du Roi Pausole will come to life and the cast will have a whole new energy in rehearsals. We’re so close! We’ve raised the half-way! At this 50% mark towards our goal, we would like to say a profound thank you. With this money we are able to rent the full score and start forming and rehearsing the orchestra. Deciding the orchestration is crucial to the overall musical color palette. Additionally we can have rehearsals with orchestra. This makes a huge difference and can completely change the way the actors hear the music. We’ve raised $625! With this money we will be able to provide props, small set pieces, and specific costume pieces that we will incorporate into our staging rehearsals. From new costumes, to make-up, to set pieces, your funding ensures that our student-run team can create art at a professional level. With more resources we can involve even more members of the northwestern theatre community in our projects. For example, we can supply student set designers with materials and tools to build sets, we can provide student conductors with an orchestra, and we can provide a costume designer with costumes and tools. With more resources, OPUS is confident that we can provide  audience members a completely unique experience.

This delightful operetta features a blend of early 20th century neo-classical music with American musical theatre and jazz.
