SC7 will be able to have new MPPTs and other electrical components that will last another 10 years, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish at the Formula Sun Grand Prix and American Solar Challenge races in the years to come! Thank you so much to everyone who has already participated in our 2017 #CATSGiveBack crowdfunding project! We are NUsolar, Northwestern University’s solar car team. NUsolar is a student-organized solar car team with more than a decade of race experience.
This year’s #CATSGiveBack is going to be a little more special for NUsolar because we are finally working on the codename SC7- the brand new solar car that would replace the good old 6 years old SC6 Solar Car. With the new vehicle, we aim to push ourselves to a turning point by reaching at least 5th place in the 2018 Formula Sun Grand Prix 2018 (FSGP).
Our goal is to raise at least $5,000, which would fund the MPPTs and new electric parts that are necessary for the SC7. Your support is crucial for achieving our dream, every dollar in support for our cause means a lot to us.
