2 Trips Down, 2 To Go!

November 15, 2017

WE ARE HALFWAY THERE!! That means two trips down and two to go! Thank you to all of you who have contributed and followed our project! We can hardly put into words how hype we are for these trips! And you can see why! Here’s a video of our Kids to Campus Trip coordinators, Sarah and Christie, who want to tell you about the work they’ve been doing.

Yet, we still aren’t quite there! We still need to raise $1,000 in order to fund all four trips. If you can, please share our project through your social media accounts and directly with your friends and family. Without you and your support, these trips wouldn’t be possible. Thank you so much.

1 Trip Down, 3 To Go!!!

November 06, 2017

GET HYPE BECAUSE....We are already 25% of the way to our goal! Thank you to everyone who has donated! It’s because of your generosity and support that we are able to create lasting relationships with our Northwestern community as well as with CPS students. We are so thrilled to already be on our way to completing our goal, but we aren’t there yet: there are still three trips to fund! Please continue to support us and our mission by sharing this on your social media accounts and telling all of your friends! You all are wonderful!! <3

Launch Day is Here!

October 26, 2017

We want to give a huge shout-out to everyone who has donated in support of our project! It is because of your support that Supplies For Dreams can help provide students with the essential extracurricular opportunities that inspire and ignite curiosity. Your gifts make our Kids To Campus trips a reality!

Our four partner schools-- Belmont Cragin, Bernhard Moos, Manuel Perez Jr., and Joyce Kilmer-- serve a student body with 90–95% low income students, 45% of whom speak English as a non-native language. Most of the children attending our partner schools have never had the opportunity to visit a college campus and explore the possibilities that exist for them in the future. Contributing to our project will give over 120 CPS students the opportunity to see Northwestern and experience our community. The impacts of these trips is incredible. Principals at our partner schools have expressed major appreciation for these programs. It is often because of simple opportunities such as campus trips that students are able to find the inspiration to work hard at school. We have continued to ask for the expansion of these programs so that more of students can get the opportunity to find their passions.

We hope you are just as hype as we are for this campaign! At SFD we love to learn, and we know you do too! Please spread the word about this project with any of your friends and family who are passionate about education as well! And thanks in advance from the SFD team!! :)
