Help us Build a Solar Car! (NUSolar)

NOTE: For each dollar donated, the Paula M. Trienens Institute For Sustainability and Energy will match it for up to $10,000!

The Northwestern University Solar Car Team is an undergraduate student group dedicated to education through manufacturing. The entire purpose of our car and competition is to show the world that it is possible to travel thousands of miles without a single drop of gasoline. For this Catalyzer campaign, we seek to fund essential components of our team’s future development– our solar array and carbon fiber! We are starting on an ambitious one-year design and manufacturing cycle, meaning that we plan on building and racing a brand new vehicle in just one year!  All funds will support our team’s effort to purchase the material and equipment time needed to construct this vehicle, providing unique manufacturing opportunities to the 40+ members of NUsolar!
