The Northwestern Women's Club Soccer Team is a competitive soccer team committed to building a strong womxn-identifying athlete community. Our season is during the fall and we continue to train through the winter and spring quarters, with a few friendly games in the spring against nearby Midwestern schools.
This project will allow us to be able to compete and increase our level of play as a team. We are dedicated to ensuring the personal growth of each of our players. We also believe that playing a sport and staying active in high-stress academic periods can lead to students performing better in school when they have an outlet and community supporting them.
We are a group of womxn who play soccer competitively, but also work to foster an inclusive and supportive environment. We look to have a space for female-identifying students so that they can continue on their athletic journeys. We prioritize leading healthy lifestyles, building each other up, and developing skills such as teamwork and commitment.
Our goal for this fundraiser is purchasing 20 soccer balls and a ball bag as these two items need replacing, totaling to $650. You can help by supporting and sharing our project page where you can!
