WHO WE ARE
The Northwestern Taekwondo Club is a community of students learning, practicing, mastering, teaching, and competing in Taekwondo. The Taekwondo Club is one of the oldest and largest martial arts clubs at Northwestern. It was established in 1999, and since then it has enabled numerous students to challenge themselves, grow mentally and physically, and participate in a wonderful community. Our club is open to everybody, at every level of experience, from complete beginners to black belts who have learned Taekwondo for a decade.
OUR GOAL
The KASA Show is an annual event celebrating Korean heritage that is open to the community. For years, the Taekwondo Club’s performance has been a key component of that show that has helped to make it as outstanding as it is. With the event approaching, our goal is to ensure that we provide the best performance we possibly can. Many resources are necessary to achieve this goal: We need to have wooden boards for breaking, as well as gear and props to use in preparation for and during the performance. In addition, we need to publicize our performance, for instance by creating and placing a banner.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
The best way to help us with our performance is to give. Any amount helps. Your contribution is very important in allowing us to give a great performance, and we are all very grateful for your help. Besides giving, you can also help by sharing this page with friends, family, and anybody else who may be able to help. In addition, we encourage you, if possible, to come to the KASA Show, and see firsthand how valuable your generosity is.
