This winter, for one week only, Sit & Spin Productions presents Chainsaw Tits on campus at Shanley Pavilion. Chainsaw Tits is an innovative, daring, and loud play by Nicole Streger that follows Kinley, the protagonist. Kinley’s mom, a skilled surgeon with sexual assault trauma, sewed chainsaws onto Kinley’s tits when she hit puberty to “protect her.” At 18, Kinley escapes and goes on a naive quest to become a better surgeon than her mom and remove the chainsaws herself. After getting a job at a haunted house, she meets Jade, who helps Kinley explore autonomy, growing up, the meaning of family, living through trauma, and what it means to have a body. We hope our production will serve as a learning opportunity for the two dozen members of the cast and production team. We are so excited to bring this new play to campus, but your help is crucial in ensuring we can fully produce it!
