Who We Are
The Freshman Musical is Northwestern’s annual tradition providing barrier-free opportunities for first-year students to engage with theatre. Every spring quarter, first-year students come together and put on a show produced, created, and performed entirely by the freshman class. We welcome anyone to take part in and learn more about the magic and power of theatre as we encourage members, with or without prior experience, to explore their creative interests in any part of the production process. Whether it be acting, designing, marketing, or much more, we provide the stage, working to strengthen and celebrate the freshman community as well as the presence of performing arts on campus.
Our Goal
To sustain Northwestern’s long-standing tradition of the Freshman Musical and continue offering first-year students the opportunity to explore theatre production, we need your help to fund this year’s show of Little Shops of Horrors. From props and costumes to stage sets and lighting, we require funding to make all the team’s hard work come to life. We eagerly look forward to putting forth the best show possible.
What You Can Do
We need your help to raise enough money to fund our production of Little Shops of Horrors! We hope you will support us in our mission of encouraging first-year students to pursue their passion or interests in theatre. Any amount of contribution will be greatly appreciated.
