The Associate Board of Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center is a group of young professionals dedicated to advancing cancer research, education, patient care, and community benefit by funding cutting-edge research of investigators at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s Lurie Cancer Center.

Our Associate Board Innovative Research Scholar will receive all funds donated here to support an early-stage basic, translational, or clinical study - with the aim of positively impacting patients fighting cancer. Last year, the Board chose to support Dr. Marcelo Bonini (https://www.cancer.northwestern.edu/about/leadership/bonini.html) who is currently using our funds to investigate novel drug treatments for hard-to-target metastatic breast cancer cells.
