Lin-Manuel Miranda’s In The Heights comes to the Northwestern stage December 2-3! Produced by Mark Berry and directed by Alondra Rios, In The Heights is a musical about community and family set in the bustling, diverse Washington Heights neighborhood in New York City. With a cast of 25 actors, singers, and dancers, as well as a team of 24 artists, managers, and designers, this show highlights the vibrant Latine community at Northwestern and celebrates joy, love, and dynamic community.
We’re looking to raise $5,000 to make this production possible. This money will be used to rent stage lights, build our set, rent costumes for the actors, rent sound equipment, and rent props to create this community on the McCormick Auditorium stage. The money will be broken down in the following ways:
$2,000 - lights rental
$1,500 - set building
$500 - costumes
$500 - props
$500 - sound equipment
This team has been working hard since May to put up this show, and we’re excited to finally perform December 2 & 3. We ask that you please support us as you are able to make this show possible!
