Tacoma McKnight, MD has dedicated her professional career to the students and trainees at Northwestern University and to the many obstetrics and gynecology patients at Northwestern Medicine. Over the past four decades, Dr. McKnight has been a committed leader to the academic mission and a well-respected advocate for the advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion among our trainees, staff, and faculty. To honor Dr. McKnight’s enduring commitment, the Tacoma A. McKnight, MD Education and Research Fund has been established to support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in education and research within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.
All of the funds you donate to the Tacoma McKnight, MD Education and Research Fund, will support the recruitment and retention of URIM physicians who represent and share in the commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This is the true footprint of Dr. McKnight’s legacy and the inspiration she has imparted through her years of service.
