ABOUT US:
Lipstick is the feminist theatre board on campus devoted to tackling women’s issues through art and activism. Our shows grapple with contemporary issues where gender, class, and race intersect. These performances challenge audiences to think critically about the dynamic and complex roles women play in society. Through our mainstage season as well as our highly curated special event series, Lipstick provides opportunities and education for women in artistic leadership roles while fostering discussions about developing the roles of women in the larger artistic community. Lipstick was awarded the 2014 Wildcat Excellence Award for Outstanding New Student Organization, the 2015 Campus Life Award, and the Wildcat Excellence Award for Best Performance.
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Lipstick Theatre’s goal is to raise $1,000 to host one free performance for each of our productions. To do this, we need your help. We want our mission of celebrating women to be fully accessible to our community, regardless of ticket price
.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Any donation you make to help us reach our goal is greatly appreciated. With your help, we can ensure that women and marginalized voices at Northwestern know that they are represented artistically, and that there is an organization on campus committed to serving them. With your gift, you help us better serve these underrepresented communities.
