Our project centers around training students to take basic vitals. It will bring pre-health students and health professionals together, giving students a chance to learn from working medical professionals. Though students may not be able to practice this in the field, it can be beneficial to simply be aware of the process in situations like health clinics or shadowing, and will prepare students for future careers in health. Money raised for this project will go towards getting materials to use for the training (such as stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs), and marketing the event. The materials used for training will be donated to a health organization after the event.
Seniors can use their Class of 2017 gift to support future medical professionals.Donors from the Class of 2017 qualify for senior week invitations.
