This June, Arts Alliance presents Ordinary Days on campus! Ordinary Days follows the intersecting lives of four young New Yorkers as they search for fulfillment, love, happiness, and taxicabs. Throughout this completely sung musical, Warren, Deb, Claire, and Jason struggle to connect, ultimately revealing that pieces of our lives, as jumbled as they may seem, do fit together, even if we have to shift our perspective to see it. Ordinary Days is directed by Lucia Miller, music directed by Otto Vogel, and produced by Lucy Harrington. We are thrilled to bring this incredibly heartfelt story to campus and engage in how we, as young people and students seeking to make the world a more beautiful and caring place, struggle to find the means and agency to do so—just like our characters. Thank you so much for your support to help us bring to Shanley Pavilion the streets of New York City, the Met, TriBeCa, and most importantly, Gristedes storefront.
Join Claire and Jason to do the 7th thing on the list of things to do in NYC before you die.
Make our music director’s wildest dreams come true and let the sound of an acoustic piano be the heart of this show.
