Alumni giving matters. Donating to the Class of 2017 Graduating Class Gift ensures the programming and opportunities that make our time here meaningful. Our contributions go into the budgets of student organizations. They end up in the gas tanks when Clinical Professors drive students to courts and prisons across the country. Our donations turn into fellowship funding for public interest students. Or they get poured into brick-and-mortar improvements to the school's communal spaces.
There is no reason to sit this out. Whether you have $10 or $100, contributing to the Law School Fund means something, even in an era of $100 million donations. The business of running every facet of a law school does not stop with one outsized gift and it no doubt takes more than one person to keep the law school humming. It certainly takes more than $100 million to reward every deserving student with scholarship money.
Note that you also have the ability to designate your gift support a specific area of the Law School. When you make your gift, just indicate which of the nine Law School Fund accounts you would like to direct your gift towards in the 'notes' section.
Options include:
The Bluhm Legal Clinic
JD-MBA Scholarships

We know our class is special, and so is our school. We all benefit from our school's reputation and our school's prominence within our profession. As you may know, the highest ranked schools within our T14 peer group also have the largest endowments. There is often a strong correlation between active alumni giving and a school's prestige. For as long as we remain professionals, where Northwestern Law goes, we go.
