Who We Are

Panhellenic is the largest women’s organization on any Northwestern campus, and Panhellenic sororities have been enriching student lives at Northwestern since 1881.

Panhellenic is an umbrella organization for several self-governing, values-based sororities, and it is our mission to inspire students to greater intellectual, civic, social, and personal accountability. Our sororities offer opportunities for leadership, provide both educational and social programming, and foster lifelong friendships—all to instill each Panhellenic woman with a stronger sense of purpose and community.

The official Panhellenic values are leadership, scholarship, philanthropy, sisterhood, and recognition. We strive every day to embody these values.

Project Overview

Today we are raising funds to facilitate a number of wellness workshops on campus. These workshops will cover many health-related topics, including eating disorders, sexual assault, and stress management.

Through each workshop, we hope to facilitate women’s empowerment and arm Northwestern women with leadership skills. Each workshop will feature a specialist, who will provide invaluable information to participants.

Northwestern students try to do it all. In addition to school, they participate in Greek life, take on leadership positions in numerous organizations, play club sports, perform in shows, write for publications, and often even more. As a result, stress, exhaustion, and a general lack of wellness are prevalent issues on our campus. Through these workshops, Panhellenic seeks to leverage our resources and demonstrate our social responsibility to better the Northwestern community as a whole. Our project will also initiate and continue discussions on campus regarding these topics.
