Gifts will enable The Block to continue to expand its role as a teaching and learning resource across Northwestern, in classrooms, and across the world.

Your support will enable the museum to expand its role as a teaching and learning resource across Northwestern and in classrooms across the world. The next frontier in higher education is innovation in the use of digital space to bring the world closer to students. The Block’s collection access initiative will make it possible for anyone from anywhere at any time to access its over 6,000 works of art remotely. Northwestern faculty and K-12 educators will for the first time be able to integrate these great works of art into their classrooms across all disciplines and areas of study. The Block’s annual fund also supports experiential learning for students engaged in this initiative with paid positions that have led previous Block fellows, interns, and docents to careers in museums and the cultural non-profit sector.
