On March 18th, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine will induct its newest members of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. In keeping with AOA’s tradition of dedication to professionalism, leadership, scholarship, research, and community service in medicine, Northwestern’s chapter is seeking to establish an endowed scholarship to facilitate the recruitment of bright and deserving medical students who embody these ideals.
The current cost of a medical education is valued at greater than $250,000 for tuition alone, excluding the costs of undergraduate education and living expenses during medical school. Our scholarship will reduce this burden to encourage individuals with a passion for healing to pursue a medical education. To this end, we seek to raise $25,000 to establish an endowed AOA Scholarship and are grateful for your support.
Alpha Omega Alpha Scholarship Fund (AOA) is a permanently endowed fund, and its investment and expenditure shall be in accordance with Northwestern’s endowment policies and practices.
