Our Crowdfunding Groups
NU Club Softball is a team of undergraduate women who play softball to compete, have fun, and diversify our rigorous study schedules with a bit of self-care and exercise. Our team is looking to broaden our reach and reputation in the Midwest softball community, and hope to change the assumption that club-level sports are not competitive. We believe we can help encourage a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship between a network of several university club softball teams.
By hosting our 2nd Annual Chiberia Showdown Tournament, we will be welcoming teams from around Illinois to compete in a late night of indoor winter softball. Please donate here to help us achieve our mission of putting on this tournament! We cannot thank you enough for all your support.
Provides us with funds to purchase new and approved game balls
Helps us ensure the safety of all players by providing adequate first-aid materials
Enables a player to better represent Northwestern University in a new team jersey
Increases our ability to purchase safer and sturdier bases for our fields
Ensures that we can cover the cost of hiring two umpires (a field and a plate ump) for one softball game
Covers the fee to use a local Evanston softball field for three games in one day
