Hi everyone,
Our fundraising has come to an end at $8,155, which is about 82% of our goal. Although we didn't reach our (admittedly high) goal, we're so grateful for the support that everyone has shown us, and the money is going to great use!
Our team just finished up our competition at FSAE Michigan this past weekend. It is our main competition of the year where 120 teams from around the world come to compete. Our team finished the endurance race for the first time ever and placed 53rd overall - our highest finish as team. We scored an 80 in design judging, which is up 20 points from last year!
A lot of these improvements are a direct result of the testing that Catalyzer allowed us to do. Thank you so much for helping us learn and compete!
Best,
Tiernan
Today marks the day we hit our 50% goal! We're making the final push this week to get fully funded on our project this week.
Thanks to Catalyzer and Windy City BMW, we had our first test day yesterday! The team went to Hawthorne Race Tracks and spent all day working on testing and tuning the car. We got launch control set up right away, then spent the rest of the day running the car through a variety of events: lane change, skid pad, and slaloms.
Check out some photo from the day!
Hi everyone,
Yesterday our hubs came in! The team has, in 24 hours, finished 16 wheel nuts and fit everything on the car! We're excited to be closing in on driving.

Our team makes our carbon fiber steering wheel in house! Check out Kyle, our chassis lead, as he works to debag the steering wheel layup from its mold.
Hi everyone,
Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far! We're so grateful for all of the help. Check out a few photos of the team and how our car is coming along!

$10 can buy us 100 bolts! We have thousands on the car, and every one counts.
Gotta get to the test track somehow! $20 pays for a tank of diesel to get us there and home. Shout out to seniors for the extra 16 cents to top off the tank.
With your $50 donation, we can buy sensors that let us monitor our car's performance at all times!
Wiring and connectors put it all together. And it’s expensive. Your $75 donation will help us to wire up some sensors.
Your $100 pays for us to spend a few very discounted hours at a local dynamometer that will help us tune our engine for optimal power and acceleration.
We push our car to the limit. Sometimes, things break. Your $250 can ensure that we replace broken parts with even better ones.
$500 will pay for a whole day at a nice smooth racetrack similar to the one we’ll be racing on at our competition.
Sponsor an entire day of testing, which is the most important thing we do all year. This will pay for transportation and a huge test track.
