Donations for Sportsathon 2019 are now open! Sportsathon is the lone fundraiser for WNUR Sports throughout the year, which we use to improve the station’s equipment and assist in travel for road trips throughout Big Ten country and around the nation for events such as Bowl Games, NCAA Tournament contests, and much more.
The 2019 WNUR Sportsathon is set to kick off Friday, November 22nd, at 6:30 PM and continue until Saturday, November 23rd, at 7:30 PM. The event is more than 24 straight hours of sports programming on WNUR 89.3 FM and http://wnur.org. This year’s Sportsathon will include live coverage of Men's Basketball vs. Norfolk State from Welsh-Ryan Arena and Football's matchup with No. 10 Minnesota at Ryan Field. WNUR Sports has new donation premiums for this year’s Sportsathon! Important: On the donation page, please make sure to include your contact information, the shipping address if it differs from the billing address, and what premiums you would like to receive! The premium eligibility plateaus are as follows:
$10 – WNUR Sports Phone Wallet
$30 – WNUR Sports short-sleeved T-Shirt (Please state the size you would like in the comments)
$70 – WNUR Sports Hoodie (Please state the size you would like in the comments)
$100 – WNUR Sports Hoodie, short-sleeved T-shirt, and Phone Wallet (Please state the size of hoodie and t-shirt you would like in the comments)
