Our crowdfunding campaign for Professional Development for Music Educators has come to a close, and we couldn’t have met our goal of $750 without the support of people like you. We sincerely thank you for your generous contributions and attention to our project. We assure you that these funds will go toward valuable experiences for our future music educators. Thank you for helping our NAfME educators have educational and inspirational experiences that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Well, we’ve done it! Because of your generous support, we have met our goal of $750. With this money, we are able to pay 3-4 guest presenters and provide 2-4 scholarships to students in need. This may not seem like much, but for a relatively small organization like NU NAfME, this means the world to our students. Thanks to this support, our students will have access to professional development opportunities that keep them inspired about music education and informed on issues in the field.

We’re so close! Thanks to our generous donors, we’ve raised $562.50 to use toward professional development events and scholarships. With this money, we can pay for two guest speakers and three scholarships for Chicago Symphony tickets and Illinois Music Education Conference registration! This is very exciting, but we’re not giving up just yet. We still have $187.50 to raise, and we’re hoping that you can help us reach that goal by making a gift or sharing our project!

With $375, we can pay for two guest speakers or five scholarships for Chicago Symphony Orchestra tickets/transportation and Illinois Music Education Conference registration. Thank you to those who have already supported NU NAfME! Your gift plays a crucial role in helping us provide quality professional development opportunities for our future music educators. Guest speakers offer inspirational and educational presentations to our students, but they can cost us around $150. Also, registration and ticket costs for events can be inhibitory for some of our students. A scholarship of $21 to cover a student ticket and transportation to and from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra can make all the difference for one student by providing them with an inspiring musical opportunity that they otherwise might not have. We hope that you will share our project with others so that we can provide these opportunities for as many of our students as possible.
