Thank you so much to everyone who gave and helped spread the word about our project! With your help we raised $1,683, which will allow over 60 community members to get trained in CPR and first aid for free. We can now buy necessary training supplies to offer the highest quality of training to our participants. Although it may not seem like much, you helped save lives by equipping community members with lifesaving skills. Thank you again for all of your support!
We’ve raised 50% of our goal! With all the support we’ve received, we can now certify five student trainers who can train more than 30 community members each year—that is 150 community members that we can train in the next year thanks to your generosity! To reach our goal of training 300 community members next year, we still need your help and support. No matter how big or small, your gifts help make our CPR and first-aid training possible. Make a gift to empower community members to save lives and promote health and wellness.
Our Catalyzer campaign has started! Thank you to everyone who has already given and shown interest in our project! Your support goes toward our Red Cross Training Corps to help pay for basic supplies and future training so that we can continue our impact. Over 90% of people who suffer cardiac arrest die before reaching a medical care center—if bystanders were CPR trained, that number could significantly drop. Less than 20% of Americans are currently equipped to perform CPR despite more than 350,000 cardiac episodes occurring out of hospitals every year. We aim to train as many community members as possible by eliminating economic barriers; outside of our program, CPR/first-aid courses can cost anywhere from $45 to $105. Help empower our communities by giving or spreading the word about Community Health Corps and our Red Cross Training Corps initiative!
