Who we are

Mayfest Productions is the student group that’s been bringing you Dillo Day for more than 40 years. Dillo Day is the nation's largest student-run music festival, which features many acclaimed artists each year right on Northwestern’s very own Lakefill. Dillo Day is an event that students all around campus and members of the Northwestern and Evanston community look forward to all year and is truly a Northwestern institution.

Why we need your help

This year Mayfest Productions is looking to jazz up Dillo Day by bringing multiple mediums of art to the festival. To do so, we’re collaborating with the amazingly talented students of Northwestern to bring student art onto the Lakefill. These pieces will fit with this year’s Dillo Day theme - retro - but will display the variety of student artistic talent found at Northwestern. In additional to our student artists, we’re working with professional, Chicago-based creatives. These local artists will build and display a unique, retro art piece for Dillo Day 2019! This art piece would be built to last for years and be featured in future Dillo Days.

Ways to Support

Donating to our Catalyzer Campaign will improve the Dillo Day experience and allow Northwestern student artists their time to shine. Your donations for art at Dillo Day will increase the dialogue between Mayfest and the Northwestern campus and foster a more involved music festival.
