The world is moving faster than ever, and these qualities are becoming more and more essential to keeping up! We at EPIC strive to cultivate these characteristics in our members while offering the community opportunities to bring out their inner-entrepreneurs and most creative ideas. We are entrepreneurs in action, people who turn problems into opportunities.
This year, we are introducing the EPIC Launch Program, a carefully-designed crash course in entrepreneurship, taking students' ideas from sketches on napkins to real products prepared for crowdfunding and venture capital investment. In tandem with the Garage, the university's brand new incubator space, the EPIC Launch Program will help students explore what it means to be an entrepreneur, develop the skills necessary to build a successful startup, and deliver their products to the public.
In order to make this program as effective and comprehensive as possible, we need your help! We're raising $3,500 to fund the resources necessary to foster our participants' creativity, leadership and communication abilities, and capacity to take action. Your contributions will go toward a small library of entrepreneurship's most renowned books, presentation tools including remotes and a document camera, as well as the resources to help both hardware and software focused teams hone their respective skills and turn their dreams and sketches into products ready for market.
