Quest Scholars Network
Northwestern University Quest Scholars Network (NUQSN) is Northwestern’s premier student group for low-income, first-generation college students. Focused on community building and advocacy, the group hosts events for its members that are open to the general public, and it works with campus partners to voice the needs of the students they serve. NUQSN is a subsidiary of the larger QuestBridge organization, a nonprofit that connects some of the nation’s brightest low-income high school students to elite colleges and universities across the country.
Our Project
Money Matters Week was created in 2014 to encourage authentic discussions and shed light on the topic of identity, class, and income at Northwestern. Events in the past have included workshops on class, a student-alumni networking event, and a panel with faculty on the cost of resilience! This week is a great way for the whole campus to start a discussion about something that isn’t always easy to discuss.
How you can help!
Please consider supporting this endeavor as we try to support students who are learning to navigate their class identities on campus!
Help us bring a speaker to campus who will have an impact on all students regardless of background or experience.
