At this time we are focused on Brendan’s case and the work of CWCY. We look forward to reenergizing our fundraising campaign more broadly later this year following the release of the second season of Making a Murderer.
False confessions of youth like Brendan Dassey, are not anomalies and there are hundreds of kids just like Brendan who need our help. Join us today and support the work of the Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth (CWCY) so we can continue to fight for kids in need.
The Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth are the leading false confession specialists in the country. We know of hundreds of proven false confessions, which are the leading cause of wrongful convictions in homicide cases. Together with the Center on Wrongful Convictions, we receive almost 3,000 letters per year. So far in 2017, the CWCY has helped secure the exonerations and/or releases of no fewer than seven individuals. This is an almost unprecedented rate of success, given that we have only three attorneys!

The CWCY spearheads national efforts to drive criminal justice reforms that will prevent children from making unreliable statements and coerced statements during police interrogations. We NEED you to continue doing this work!
