Wow! Thanks for helping us get this far! We're currently planning our next Active Listening Workshop. At our first workshop, we learned key active listening skills from our advisor, John Dunkle, executive director of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). We're hoping to bring a range of professionals with a stake in mental health to be part of a panel for our next workshop!
But we can't reach our goal without your help. Please help us by spreading the word about NU Listens' project and mission. Whether through social media or word of mouth, we hope to reach as many people as possible who are interested in helping make a meaningful difference on Northwestern's campus. Thanks again for your continued support! Go 'Cats!
$25 provides new training materials to enhance our workshops and provide all trainees with everything they need to have to be the best volunteers possible.
$50 helps cover the cost of marketing materials, like volunteer t-shirts and stress balls for students, which help ensure all NU students know about our services.
$100 helps provide food/caffeine, t-shirts, and training materials for 5 new workshop attendees!
$250 will go toward a retreat that helps bring workshop attendees, Listeners, and the executive board together to solidify goals for the upcoming year.
$500 brings a guest speaker to our training sessions to help give more specialized advice to our workshop attendees.
