The Freshman Musical is an annual Northwestern tradition that takes place every Spring quarter and is produced entirely by the Freshman class. It provides freshmen the opportunity to take on large leadership roles that are typically not afforded to them, while also proving to be a great community-building and bonding experience. After over a year of remote learning and extremely limited on-campus engagement, the Freshman Musical provides a project for the freshman class to rally around during an increasingly non-traditional first year at Northwestern. This year, we bring to you The Theory of Relativity by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill, produced by people who have never been in the same room together, but still work closely together to stage a beautiful show.
Staging the Freshman Musical in a completely virtual setting poses some unique challenges for this year. In order to make this virtual production possible, we need your help to purchase the licensing rights for our production. Every donation helps!
