*Update:* We’ve extended this challenge through Sunday at 11:59 p.m. PT. Please spread the word within your Wildcat circles and share this page!
We recently created an endowed Class of 1980 Scholarship Fund in honor of our 40th Reunion. When fully funded, this scholarship will provide a generous award to a talented and deserving student, each and every year, in perpetuity.
To kick-start support for this fund, we encourage all classmates to participate in a special challenge through 11:59 p.m. PST on Giving Tuesday, December 1. Our classmate, Erwin Aulis ’80, ’82 MBA, is sponsoring this challenge, agreeing to match all gifts to the Class of 1980 Scholarship Fund, up to $5,000. Here’s why Erwin is stepping up his support:
“As the son of immigrants who grew up in a blue-collar family, Northwestern opened the world for me—amazing students, faculty, and administration—and most importantly, lifelong friendships. I was also fortunate enough to spend six years in Evanston, continuing on to Kellogg after undergrad. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for what our alma mater provided me in preparation for life. Go ’Cats!”
Your gift—in the amount that’s meaningful to you—will help future Wildcats have the academic, social, and leadership opportunities we did. Make your gift now to double your impact and boost support for this fund!
Thank you to everyone who has already contributed to our class scholarship!
