We recently created an endowed Class of 1975 Scholarship Fund in honor of our 45th Reunion. When fully funded, this scholarship will provide a generous award to a talented and deserving student, each and every year, in perpetuity.
To kick-start support for this fund, we encourage all classmates to participate in a special challenge through 11:59 p.m. PST on Giving Tuesday, December 1. Our classmate, Bill Rosner ’75, ’76 MBA (’05, ’07, ’10 P), is sponsoring this challenge, agreeing to match all gifts to the Class of 1975 Scholarship Fund, up to $5,000. Here’s why Bill is stepping up his support:
“My wife, Linda, and I feel that Northwestern has given us a great deal over the years. I graduated from the McCormick School of Engineering in 1975 and the Kellogg School of Management in 1976, and all three of our children also had the privilege of attending Northwestern in recent years. As such, we are proud supporters of the University.
This year, more than ever, support from alumni like us can help students and faculty as they continue to navigate the uncertainties of COVID-19. The Class of 1975 Scholarship Fund offers a unique opportunity for all of us to come together as a class to make a significant impact on the lives of students at Northwestern. For this reason, and in honor of our 45th Reunion, I chose to support the class scholarship fund and issue this challenge. I hope you will join me in supporting this wonderful cause.”
