Who are we? Seesaw Theatre strives to enrich the lives of autistic and otherwise disabled audiences by increasing their access to theatre and fostering the use of performance as a channel for expression. Our spring mainstage is our biggest show of the year, bringing classes and families from the Evanston area to Northwestern University’s campus for a sensory-based theatre experience in Shanley Pavilion. This year’s spring mainstage show will take our audience members on an interactive adventure through an animal sanctuary. They will be able to engage all of their senses as we explore the sights, sounds, and textures of the animals’ habitats.
Why give? In order to provide our audiences with all the sensory experiences that come with the animal sanctuary, we will need props, costumes, lights, and a set that play with a variety of textures, colors, and senses. And, to acquire all these production elements, we depend on donors to help us achieve our fundraising goals and give our audiences a magical and crafty experience. Through this campaign, we hope to raise $1,700 to assist our production team in creating the most exciting, immersive animal sanctuary possible. Please give if you can, however much you can, and help us reach more potential donors by sharing our fundraising goals through social media!
