WHO WE ARE
Northwestern Taekwondo Club is a community of students who love to kick. Established in 1999, NU Taekwondo is one of the oldest and largest martial arts clubs on Northwestern’s campus. Our members are of all skill and experience levels; from black belts with more than 10 years of experience to those who have never heard of Taekwondo before joining, we are open to all. We offer practices, hold belt tests, attend competitions, and perform at the annual KASA show. We are more than a team; we are a family.
OUR GOAL
We have had our current sparring gear for years, so it has accumulated a lot of wear and damage. As our club grows bigger each year, we also do not have enough equipment to support its growth. This is concerning since sparring gear is needed to protect our members while practicing. We want to replace our sparring gear, but gear is expensive. We need your help to raise funds to replace our old sparring equipment, which will help foster passion for Taekwondo on Northwestern’s campus for years to come.
