Our Crowdfunding Groups
Over the last few years, the club water polo team has only participated in the Big Ten men’s league. As a club, we have sent many women to the men’s tournaments but are hoping to register as a team in the Big Ten women’s league and participate in more women’s tournaments this upcoming season. Registration fees are almost $3,000, with required tournaments adding on an additional $1,200 per year. Furthermore, we’re lacking properly sized equipment to practice and prepare for these tournaments. We currently only have men-sized balls, which are larger and not used in women’s games. We are hoping to raise some of this money and literally “test the waters” at more Big Ten women’s tournaments over the next year!
