Mission Statement
The Northwestern Medical Orchestra (NMO) serves to enrich the Northwestern medical community by engaging members and audiences in live music experience. NMO is a unique environment where medical students, alumni, faculty, and staff convene to play together in a joint creative effort. Through open rehearsals, orchestral concerts at multiple venues, and a variety of intimate chamber music settings, NMO is committed to sharing musical performances, including their therapeutic benefits, with patients and their loved ones, community residents, and all members of the Northwestern medical community.
