Our Crowdfunding Groups
Northwestern University needs a Multi-Belief Space to accommodate the ever-increasing needs of our students to have a dedicated, neutral space within our Religious Center for religious ritual, communal prayer, or contemplation.
The importance of creating this space provides support to our entire community but is especially important for those who may not have their own actual physical space, i.e. Buddhists, Sikhs, Muslims, Native Americans, Mindfulness Initiatives, etc. The presence of a Multi-Belief Space at Northwestern also encourages the rapport, development of relationships, and dialogue between belief systems which may not happen in other places on our campus.
The design of this space is being planned by a task force of students, staff, faculty, and advisors to meet the needs of all groups. It will be an open and welcome space for all and our team is excited to make it a reality with your help.
Your contribution to this project is important in providing resources for underserved communities on our campus. Ultimately, your donation will make Northwestern a more diverse and welcoming community.

With this donation, sacred supplies such as incense, sage, and sweet grass can be purchased to use for prayer, relaxation, and meditation.
We invite all seniors to honor your graduation year with a contribution of $20.17. This gift can also be a way for anyone to honor our senior class and their legacy with this contribution.
This amount will help us purchase stacking stools for prayer and drum circles and flexible seating.
Gifts at this level will purchase padded benches and appropriate cushions used for meditation and mindfulness.
This levels purchase 4 individual rugs or mats used for daily prayers and mindfulness programs.
This level of giving will help us purchase a collection of diverse sacred images and ritual objects for student groups using the space.
An amount of $500 will help us purchase attractive and suitable editions of many sacred texts in various languages that will be available to all who use this space.
This generous gift will help us purchase large area rugs to make the space more accommodating for prayer and meditation.
